Hobie got a haircut this weekend! He had been getting pretty hairy, but it always takes a little while to get an appointment at a groomer.
This is Hobie sleeping in our bed one lazy afternoon.
Yes, he could really use a haircut! We went to Kate's Cat and Dog Salon again. The groomer did a great job.
The weird thing is that even though the groomer told Gladys he would call us when Hobie was done, nobody called. This is the third time this has happened, and it's getting a little annoying. You'd think that for $55 they could spend a minute on the phone letting us know when Hobie is done. We're happy with the result though, so we'll probably go back.
His eyebrows were perhaps a little long, but the rest of him was great. I took him to Alamo Square.
I guess Hobie must have picked something up from the cows when we went to Bolinas Ridge, because he's been grazing a lot lately. Here's Hobie eating grass:
When Hobie chills during the day, he likes to be in the sun. After he had gotten his haircut, a chair was blocking his access to the sun. That, however, is no match for a Schnauzer. Hobie simply jumped up into the chair so he could get as much warmth as possible from the sun. I've never seen him jump into this chair before, so it makes me wonder what else he does when we're not watching him.
Hobie does seem happy with his new haircut, though. He does seem a lot colder, and has been spending more time laying next to whatever he can find that's warm.
